Ken Peach Ex PC 437 TD
                  R.I.P.

Information has been received That Ken Peach Ex PC 437 TDZ passed away on 16th June 2025 after being in Hospital with a broken hip and other complications.

Ken was born in Rousdon, Devon 4.12.32.   He joined the Met Police 19.5.59 after serving as a Corporal in the R.E.M.E.as a Regimental drill Instructor.   In the Met Police he served at ZN, DT4, CTT, TDM, TDZ and retired 3.12.1988.  He was well liked at the Garage and in the clerks office and stood for no nonsense.

 Allan Lover Husband of Jackie Lover, Club Treasurer, who passed away May 2025.                                             The picture of Allan doing what he loved.                                                                                                                                                                                           R.I.P.

The funeral was at Randalls Crem, Leatherhead, Surrey, 2nd June 2025 and was well attended by Family and Friends

Triumph Black Saint Mike Hurst

This is to inform you that Mike Hurst Ex PC 676 TDZ DOB 28.10.34.  Joined the Met in 29.8.1955.  served at WM, DT4, CTT, PTU, TDP & TDZ.  He was advanced Car & Motor Cycle.  He passed away during the night 25/26. Feb 2025.  Age 90 years.

Bill Ramsden

RIP

 

Bill was the founder of the Ex Z Traffic Patrol Club in the 1060s.

He was born on 29th October 1928 in Southampton.    He joined the Met Police 11th May 1953 and served at VD, LD, DT4, CTC, ZTU and TDZ.

He retired 28th May 1978.

Hi All,

Just received a message from Mick Ashbrook in forming me that Bob Grady Ex Inspector TDZ passed away on Sunday 28th July 2024 in Hospital.

Robert Richard Grady born in East Ham 28.2.46 (Aged 78) joined the Met Police 1.3.65 from the Cadet Force.   Served FF, TDB, AD, TDM, TDZ, HCS, MD, TDB, TDV ending at TDZ.

Retired 1996.   He was a well respected Inspector at TDZ.   He will be sadly missed R.I.P.

Below message from Mick Ashbrook:

Bob died on Sunday in hospital. He had been Ill  with motor neurone disease for some time and confined to a wheelchair. He had recently been diagnosed with bowel cancer. Following Bob’s wishes there will be a private family funeral and cremation.
